"Dot", 1952 Flying Cloud Airstream
‘Dot’ the Airstream came into our fold in early 2019! She journeyed all the way from Kansas to the ‘Land of Oz’ so we named her Dot, short for Dorothy.
She is 67 years old and, though showing her age on the inside, her exterior is in great shape. She has 13 end caps (a very desirable feature in vintage Airstreams) and gorgeous '50s windows. This is a very rare year and model to find in USA, let alone in Australia!
Our plan is to strip the interior, repair any chassis frame that needs attention, create a new solid floor, polish her exterior, paint the interior white and get her registered within Victoria. She will be offered as a blank canvas for her new owner to fit out in their own personal style.
We have another project on the go at the moment so working on Dot will take a couple of months. Completed price is to be determined after costs and labour.
NOTE: If you are interested in taking her on as your own project, get in touch! We can send photos via an iCloud link or you can view her on our property. We would be happy to sell her ‘as-is’ and will entertain offers around $50k. Phone Scott on 0433 112 182.
