Do wanderlings set everything up?
Yes! We tow the caravan/camper to your chosen location and style your bespoke hire before you arrive. We return to pack down and tow it away after you've checked out.
Do I need to book my own location?
Yes, you will need to book your own location. Feel free to ask us for our opinion on the best spots!
Please research the area you are booking as you are responsible for selecting your own site. We cannot take responsibility for issues related to the location chosen.
What does the location need?
‘Peggy Sue’ the Airstream requires at least 9m x 6m of flat area, access to mains power and a water tap.
Miss Myrtle the caravan requires at least 8m x 5m of flat area and access to mains power.
Can I book for one Night only?
You are welcome to hire for just one night, however our 2-night rates apply due to the labour and travel involved.
Can I book a location other than Mornington Peninsula?
We can generally deliver for free within 50km of postcode 3926 and a small delivery fee within 50 - 100km. Contact us for a quote, we'll do our best to accommodate you!
Do We have permanent locations?
Not at this stage!
Do we allow pets?
As much as we love bringing our own pets on holidays I'm afraid we don’t allow pets in any of our Wanderlings hires.
How does payment work?
Once your booking request has been approved and you have booked your location we require payment of a $200 security bond to lock in your hire dates. This is separate to the hire fee and is fully refundable within 7 days providing all hired goods are returned in original hire condition.
The hire fee is due 3 weeks before your hire. We accept bank transfer or credit card (2.5% surcharge applicable).
Can I book over a long weekend?
Yes! We require a minimum booking of 3 nights over long weekends.
